Strategic Development Specialist - Biofuels (m/w/d)
Job Overview
In this role, you will be pivotal in the nationwide advancement of the customer segment focused on "Alternative Fuels/Bio-Fuels/E-Fuels/SAF". Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying customer needs, creating specifications, and developing tailored solutions in collaboration with our Euro Holding and parent company in Japan.
- Overseeing and facilitating the market introduction, operation, and technological enhancement of solutions in the "Alternative Fuels" sector, potentially in partnership with collaborators and research institutions.
- Generating and qualifying leads through structured acquisition strategies (campaigns, etc.) within relevant industries.
- Crafting specific customer solutions and preparing commercial proposals.
- Drafting contracts and finalizing agreements with clients.
- Coordinating tests, demonstrations, implementation, and commissioning processes.
- Collecting and analyzing technology, market, and competitive intelligence.
- Providing customer support following the successful launch of new processes.
- Actively participating in relevant associations, committees, and interest groups.
Qualifications
- A completed degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, natural sciences, process engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in chemical process engineering, petroleum industry, energy sector, or similar fields.
- Experience in both digital and traditional sales of complex technological solutions.
- Proven track record in market and business development within a B2B environment.
- Broad technical understanding, particularly in the application of gases.
- Proficient in English.
- Familiarity with MS Office and CRM systems (Dynamics 365).
- Desirable: Knowledge of SAP.
- Strong communication and assertiveness skills.
- Negotiation proficiency.
- Independent, precise, and goal-oriented work style.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel.
