We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to assume the role of Department Head in the specialized area of Intensive Educational and Therapeutic Support. In this capacity, you will be tasked with overseeing the administration of various support services within the framework of the SGB VIII. Your responsibilities will encompass leadership in pedagogical, therapeutic, organizational, and financial operations, along with personnel management and development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team dedicated to providing high-quality support services for youth.
- Collaborate closely with the management team to enhance service offerings and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Represent the department in professional discussions and forums.
- Oversee the implementation of effective strategies to support the educational and therapeutic needs of youth.
- A degree in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in leadership roles within youth welfare services is essential.
- Additional qualifications in systemic counseling, family therapy, trauma pedagogy, or psychotraumatology are preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, along with strong empathy and adaptability.
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
The Social Services division of Kaiserswerther Diakonie offers a wide range of outpatient and residential support services for young individuals. Our specialized facilities provide intensive educational and therapeutic support for boys aged 6 to 21, delivered by multidisciplinary teams in a residential environment. We foster close collaborations with educational institutions, child and youth psychiatric facilities, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
