About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT-Manager (w/m/d) to join our team at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing technical support and infrastructure management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for IT support and troubleshooting
  • Install and configure workstations, ensuring seamless integration with our infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Provide technical support for user problems, working closely with our campus management team
  • Collaborate with our IT team in Vallendar and campus management team in Düsseldorf
  • Be prepared for cross-site assignments and flexible working hours

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced IT-Manager (w/m/d) with a strong background in technical support and infrastructure management. You should have:

  • Completed technical vocational training or extensive professional experience in line with the job profile
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and basic knowledge of macOS, iOS, and Android
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English language
  • Independent, structured, and autonomous working style with a high degree of reliability, service orientation, and teamwork
  • Willingness to learn new topics and adapt to changing requirements
