About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Auditor to join our team in Dresden, Germany. As a Senior Auditor, you will be responsible for leading and executing audit engagements, providing expert advice to clients, and developing and implementing audit strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting
  • Provide expert advice to clients on financial reporting, accounting, and regulatory matters
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to meet client needs and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments, applying this knowledge to improve audit quality and efficiency

Requirements

  • Professional certification as a Wirtschaftsprüfer (German equivalent of a Chartered Accountant)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in audit and assurance, preferably in a Big Four firm
  • Strong knowledge of German GAAP and IFRS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
