Lead Development Engineer for Fuel Cell and Electrolysis Test Benches

HORIBA FuelCon GmbH is a leading provider of test solutions for hydrogen electrolyzers and innovative test benches for fuel cell manufacturers. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Development Manager to lead our development efforts in the area of test bench technology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of hydrogen technology.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage an interdisciplinary team of hardware and software developers focused on fuel cell and electrolysis test bench development.
  • Oversee the timely and high-quality development of components and functions for our cutting-edge test benches.
  • Collaborate with specialist departments to align strategies for new product development and product optimizations.
  • Continuously expand and qualify the team through initiatives and training programs.
  • Manage budgets and investment planning for the development area.
  • Design and optimize development processes, methods, and tools within your responsibility area.
Your Profile
  • Possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have several years of experience as a manager in the research and development of complex mechatronic systems, preferably in test bench construction or specialized mechanical engineering.
  • Demonstrate confident communication skills combined with a high level of customer orientation.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities, motivating your team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
