About the Role:
The Industrialization & Verification (TI) division is a crucial component of the R&D framework within EAS. Our focus is on the validation, verification, and industrialization of antenna products and components, pioneering advanced antenna manufacturing technologies in a stimulating and dynamic environment.
We are currently seeking a Production Line Planner to elevate our antenna manufacturing capabilities. This role involves crafting innovative manufacturing strategies utilizing cutting-edge technology to ensure our products are produced with maximum efficiency, speed, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative production strategies and layouts for manufacturing lines.
- Enhance production efficiency and cost-effectiveness through intelligent setups.
- Create ergonomic workspaces to improve worker comfort and productivity.
- Conduct line balancing and analyze manufacturing times (MTM).
- Apply LEAN methodologies (TPM, One Piece Flow, etc.) and perform time studies in line design.
- Establish and refine process KPIs (e.g., OEE).
- Specify necessary equipment and critical spare parts.
- Incorporate lessons learned into the manufacturing framework.
- Assist in problem-solving initiatives and conduct root cause analyses.
Qualifications:
- A completed (technical) university degree in mechanical engineering, production technology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in production line planning, manufacturing technology, or R&D.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing methodologies.
- Excellent methodological skills.
- Structured and solution-focused approach to work.
- High level of social competence and teamwork ability.
- Proficient in written and spoken English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
