SOLAR PROJECT SUPERVISOR - SOUTH GERMANY (m/f/d)

POSITION OVERVIEW
Our client, a prominent French enterprise specializing in solar carports, is expanding its operations in Germany through the establishment of a new German GmbH. As part of a growing German team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of projects in accordance with established guidelines. Your role will involve managing assembly teams and subcontractors across various disciplines, including civil works, steel structures, and electrical installations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and all involved parties, participating in site construction meetings and drafting essential correspondence to facilitate project progress and manage any disputes.
  • Oversee financial aspects of the projects, including site working hours, machinery budgets, and any additional work required.
  • Conduct necessary reporting on project progress and additional works to ensure accurate monthly invoicing.
  • Order and manage the delivery of required construction machinery and materials, ensuring timely availability on site.
  • Supervise the management of work activities, including coordination of erection teams, subcontractors, and planning of tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality, Safety, and Environmental policies of the Group.
In this role, you will report directly to the managing director of the German GmbH while maintaining constant communication with operational teams in France.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree in construction or equivalent experience is required.
  • Proven experience as a Work Supervisor with knowledge in civil engineering, steel structures, and electrical systems.
  • Fluency in German at a native level and professional proficiency in English, with the ability to compose emails and technical communications.
  • Proficient in planning and basic Excel reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective team management.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
  • Willingness to travel to various work sites (residing in South Germany is advantageous).
