Fleet Operations Supervisor

Purpose: Oversee the Operational Readiness mission and resource allocation to support Army Preposition Stock (APS). Manage Fleet Readiness for units up to the Battalion level, ensuring compliance with Ready for Issue and Configure for Combat (CfC) standards as per Army Regulations. Interpret Modernized Table of Equipment (MTOE) and Modernized Configuration of Equipment (MCoE) to align with APS requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly report to the Supply Manager, providing analytical logistical standardization for prepositioned fleet management oversight.
- Ensure comprehensive logistical management for operations at the Company level.
- Work independently or collaboratively as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with USG customers to meet mission objectives and expectations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and counseling sessions for personnel to uphold necessary qualifications.
- Manage multiple operations concurrently, delivering updates on cost, schedule, and mission outcomes.
- Administer prepositioned stock fleet in accordance with Army Regulations and contractual obligations.
- Identify and achieve specific mission/project benchmark goals.
- Plan and coordinate briefings for up to BN level command and staff.
- Collaborate in developing Concept of Support/Course of Action briefs, APS-2 Set Annual Issue Exercise requirements, and issue plans in accordance with contract specifications.
- Monitor and analyze Taskers, operational activities, and departmental metrics.
- Coordinate multiple mission requirements, including APS Set R1 & S1 Readiness levels.
- Support the sustainment program through operational analysis, planning, maintenance, and readiness reporting.
- Act as a liaison among all functional departments to achieve cohesive results.
- Disseminate operational guidance for all tasks and missions.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the overall quality of the maintenance program.
- Create, manage, and monitor Operational Concepts of Support to address mission or unit challenges.
- Provide oversight for Readiness Control Analysis, ensuring direct communication with all supporting Material Readiness Center and Logistics Operation Center sections to meet benchmark goals.
- Analyze historical data, monitor performance benchmarks, and develop continuous improvement programs in the functional area.
- Identify ONS, Taskers, prioritize, assign responsibilities, resource, manage, and monitor their implementation based on PWS requirements.
- Develop and publish weekly Operational Readiness reports in compliance with Army Regulations and PWS requirements.
- Enhance current processes and procedures, including new tracking methodologies.
- Monitor all MTOE, MCoE, and WRSI stocks and configurations in accordance with PWS and ARs.
- Conduct research on data entered into AWRDS to identify and rectify discrepancies.
- Evaluate MWO's / SOUMS / GPA's for accuracy and address outstanding messages with appropriate actions.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 8 years of relevant civilian or military experience required.
- 5 years of supervisory experience required.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to interpret and implement local policies effectively.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Proficient in logistics LIS systems such as GCSS Army, LMP, and LIW.
Certification, License & Clearance:
- Citizenship required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Passport.
- Must meet and maintain all base access security requirements.
- Secret Clearance is required.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust and high temperatures.
- Must endure long hours and exposure to various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Army Logistics MOS preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration/Management, or equivalent highly preferred. Four additional years of experience may substitute for the degree.
