Strategic Operations Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

Are you a versatile, organized, and effective communicator? We are seeking a Hybrid Manager (m/f/d) to act as a key communicator, support for our CEO, facilitator for internal teams, and point of contact for external partners. This role combines administrative, strategic, and liaison duties aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, promoting effective decision-making, and improving overall organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth organizational operations by expertly managing schedules, coordinating travel arrangements, and organizing events for the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Team Coordination: Serve as a bridge between executive leadership and various internal departments to facilitate seamless communication and project execution.
  • Strategic Engagement: Play a vital role in the creation and execution of strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Research & Insights: Conduct thorough research and provide analytical insights on various technical and commercial subjects to support board-level decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Enhance communication with external partners, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Executive Communication: Manage professional correspondence and documentation on behalf of the CEO, ensuring high-quality and timely communication.
  • Priority Management: Demonstrate exceptional prioritization skills by balancing multiple competing tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.
  • Meeting Preparation: Prepare comprehensive presentations and materials for high-level meetings, workshops, and executive gatherings.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in management consulting, business administration, or a related field; 5-7 years of relevant experience is preferred due to the role's complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline is required. Additional qualifications in Project Management or Executive Secretarial Studies are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills, demonstrated through a history of structured work processes.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and editing is beneficial.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, characterized by persuasiveness, friendliness, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and skilled at managing multiple priorities.
  • Prior experience collaborating closely with a Board of Directors or C-level executives is essential.
  • Fluency in both German and English is required.

Candidate Profile:

We are particularly interested in candidates who possess a diverse skill set for the Hybrid Manager role. Ideal candidates may come from high-performing administrative backgrounds such as Executive Assistant, Project Manager, or junior Operations Manager, as these roles encompass the organizational, strategic, and communication skills essential for this position.

Additionally, candidates with a professional background in mechanical or process engineering will be given special consideration, as this expertise enhances our ability to optimize board operations through a deep understanding of complex industrial processes and systems.
