Your Mission

We are seeking a seasoned Country Lead, Business Development to spearhead our expansion into the USA market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for our Battery Lifecycle Management services in the USA.

Your Profile
  • Residing in the USA
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, MBA, sales, or equivalent in experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a leadership role within the battery industry, executing automotive business, selling high-end technology solutions, preferably in a regional or country-level position
  • Proven experience working with automotive and/or battery players: Mobility OEMs, Tier-1s, system integrators, EV players, Energy Storage Companies, Recyclers, or within the Second Life Market of Lithium-Ion Batteries
  • Experience in managing complex projects and achieving ambitious targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
  • Familiarity with EU regulations, data security, and privacy practices
  • Willingness to travel within the US and EU region

Circunomics, GmbH is a leading company in the battery industry, offering a comprehensive battery lifecycle management solution. Our mission is to establish a true circular battery economy to maximize each stage of battery life. We are dedicated to inspiring the movement of batteries from 1st-life within the automotive industry to 2nd-life within the energy sector, and finally, through working with recyclers to close the loop by recovering any remaining raw materials.

We have developed an AI-powered, B2B marketplace where cells, modules, and packs can be traded. Through our Circunomics Analytics product, sellers and buyers alike can obtain a detailed view of their assets. From current SH to 2nd-life simulation, this product allows for a simpler and more profitable lifecycle management. Our team is on a mission to help ease this process for our customers.

We have been supported thus far by seed investors and business angels. Startup builder Next Mobility Labs, recycler TES, Orlen VC, and Dr. Peter Mertens (former Chief Technology Officer of Audi) are some of the key players. We are set to officially expand operations into the US by the close of 2024.
