Job Overview

The Friedhelm Loh Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead its global Compensation and Benefits (C&B) function. As the Head of Compensation and Benefits, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a modern C&B strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a global C&B strategy that supports the company's business goals and objectives
  • Lead the global C&B team and provide guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of C&B programs
  • Design and implement global frameworks and guidelines for C&B programs, including compensation systems, benefits, and performance-based compensation
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, finance, and business leaders
  • Develop and implement tools, processes, and initiatives to support C&B programs, including salary benchmarks, grading systems, and performance management
  • Lead global compensation projects, including developing new compensation systems for international top management
  • Manage annual review processes for base and variable compensation for employees, managers, and top management
  • Consult with the HR community and drive the global C&B network

Requirements

  • High expertise in Compensation and Benefits with project management experience in a production environment and international focus
  • Experience in leadership (technical and disciplinary) and collaboration with multicultural teams
  • Innovative and conceptual thinking with enthusiasm for developed C&B solutions
  • Proficient in global HR collaboration and service orientation for HR interfaces
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Extensive knowledge of change management to support implementation with appropriate concepts and methods
  • Ability to understand and reduce complexity to translate local needs into global C&B initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills in a global environment, negotiation skills, persuasive ability, assertiveness, and implementation strength
