IT Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security Engineer to join our team at Leschaco. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing information security policies and strategies to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Update Security Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Design and Implement Security Solutions: Design, enhance, and operate the IT security management system and associated processes to protect against cyber threats.
- Monitor and Respond to Security Incidents: Monitor security alerts and coordinate incident responses for security breaches, including analysis and resolution of issues.
- Conduct Security Audits and Reviews: Plan and conduct security audits and reviews to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Enhance Employee Security Awareness: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee security awareness and promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in the selection and implementation of new products and technologies with a focus on security.
- Education and Experience: Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in ISO 27001/BSI IT-Grundschutz standards, strong knowledge of IT security, encryption technologies, and compliance requirements.
- Soft Skills: Analytical skills to understand complex security issues, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, high level of responsibility, integrity, and commitment to data and system security.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English.
