IT Security Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a committed professional to enhance our IT Security division. Your primary role will be to maintain efficient and secure IT operations within the organization, working closely with the Network Infrastructure team. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Collaborating with colleagues to formulate IT security strategies, engage in project planning, and effectively execute IT security measures.
- Regularly evaluating our current security frameworks, including the enterprise-wide SIEM system, Firewall, and Endpoint solutions, while continuously optimizing them and introducing innovative IT security tactics in partnership with the relevant departments.
- Offering proactive assistance in all IT security-related issues, including managing urgent security incidents, alongside your strategic responsibilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Computer Science with a specialization in IT security, Cyber Security, or a related field, or a completed vocational training, such as an IT specialist in system integration.
- We also encourage applicants with practical IT experience and additional qualifications as IT Security Manager, IT Security Officer, or similar positions.
- In-depth knowledge of IT security or IT security management within network infrastructures.
- Experience with Azure Cloud and MS 365, ideally holding certifications like Azure Security Engineer Associate or Microsoft 365 Security Administrator.
- Familiarity with network management (VLAN) using Aruba Switches and firewall management with solutions such as Check Point or Sophos.
- Competence in scripting, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment.
- A methodical problem-solving mindset with an emphasis on analytical thinking and goal achievement.
