Electronic Shelf Label Project Manager

About the Role

The ESL Project Manager - Sales Expert will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and achieving quarterly/annual targets for SOLUM Europe GmbH. This position requires a strong focus on acquiring new customers and projects, as well as expanding existing relationships with trading partners, distributors, and System Integrators (SIs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Sales Directors to provide support on subtasks of larger customer projects.
  • Independently process sub-projects, prepare presentations, track tasks, monitor customer processes, and implement internal conditions.
  • Prepare for trade fairs, meetings, customer visits, and other events that require follow-up and preparation.
  • Update CRM tool entries with accurate and timely information.
  • Monitor the competition by collecting current market information on prices, products, new product delivery dates, technical innovations, and other relevant data.
  • Adjust sales presentations to suit the type of customer, its requirements, and/or the project.
  • Manage customer master data, including customer registration, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and contract preparation.
  • Solve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.

Requirements

  • Commercial training or studies, with at least 3 years of professional experience.
  • A pragmatic approach to work, diplomatic skills, independence, self-confidence, open-mindedness, simplicity, linguistic ability, perseverance, quick thinking, patience, people skills, a go-getter attitude, and a willingness to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
  • Reliability, flexibility, transparency, hard work, effective communication, and motivation for sales.
  • Motivation to learn, grow quickly, and take on more responsibility over time.
  • Business fluency in both German and English, with knowledge of a third language being a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
