Design Internship Opportunity

Smatched is a fast-growing startup that revolutionizes the way we pay for microtransactions by participating in quick surveys to subsidize cash payments. With over 30k+ users, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Design Intern to join our team and assist with our website, slides, and content design.

Responsibilities
  1. Design visually appealing slides with PowerPoint that tell stories and convey key messages.
  2. Develop design elements, including color schemes, typography, iconography, and graphics that align with the Smatched brand identity.
  3. Conduct user-centered design research to gain insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points.
  4. Ensure the website design is responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
  5. Assist in conducting user testing sessions to gather feedback on the website design.
  6. Create design documentation, style guides, and design assets to ensure consistent implementation of the design.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web design.
  8. Manage time effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Expertise in designing slides with PowerPoint.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Design, Web Development, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
  • Familiarity with responsive design principles and mobile-first design approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency across different design elements.
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of web design.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development concepts is a plus.
