Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage significant claims independently within the Energy and Construction industries, ensuring alignment with company policies and collaboration with supervisory staff.
  • Engage in proactive claims management, which includes site inspections, drafting comprehensive reports, and effective negotiation.
  • Provide assistance in the Property domain as required.
  • Oversee communication among brokers, policyholders, external experts, AXA Group companies, and other involved insurers and internal teams.
  • Evaluate recovery options and facilitate their implementation when necessary.
  • Contribute to both national and international internal projects.
  • Monitor portfolios and control costs effectively.
  • Maintain organized electronic files and adhere to reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments on a global scale.
  • Work closely with other divisions such as Underwriting, Risk Consulting, and Sales.

Reporting structure: Claims Team Leader for Property, Construction, and Energy sectors.

Required Qualifications:
Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Extensive experience in managing major claims within the Energy and Construction sectors, particularly in assessing power plant damages and Renewable Energy projects, alongside strong negotiation and recovery skills.
  • Alternatively, foundational experience in handling Technical or Property Insurance claims with the potential for major claims management.
  • In-depth understanding of Technical Insurance and industrial/commercial Property Insurance regulations (including all-risk insurance, obligations, security technology, underinsurance, and business interruption insurance).
  • Strong capabilities in teamwork, customer engagement, and effective communication.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and demonstrate high flexibility.
  • Resilience coupled with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Conceptual thinking and analytical skills.
  • Enthusiasm for innovative thinking and receptiveness to new concepts.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
  • Competent in MS Office and familiar with claims management systems.
