About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Group ESG Strategy Specialist to join our team at Deutsche Börse Group. As a key member of our CEO Division, you will be responsible for developing and managing our sustainable strategy, including ESG activities, KPI measurement, and internal/external communication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate ESG trends and regulatory requirements
  • Implement and enhance sustainability strategy and climate strategy in line with ESG framework
  • Monitor and advance ESG activities at Group level
  • Develop and optimize material ESG processes
  • Prepare ESG reporting for executive management decision processes
  • Optimize processes and identify opportunities related to sustainability matters
  • Coordinate ESG ratings relevant for Deutsche Börse's executive remuneration
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Sustainability Management, or similar
  • Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in sustainability field in strategic management consulting, auditing, or financial sector
  • Experience in sustainability strategy development and implementation, carbon management, corporate due diligence, and ESG reporting
  • Strong analytical skills, project management skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team and in a matrix organisation within a multicultural, international environment
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English in writing and speaking
