Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student - IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Operations Assistant, you will provide IT administrative support to our team, manage hardware inventory, and coordinate repair processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide IT Support: Offer IT administrative support to our team, manage hardware inventory, and coordinate repair processes.
- Handle IT Inquiries: Prioritize IT-related internal requests and manage the ticket system.
- Collaborate and Coordinate: Work with external IT service providers to resolve complex technical issues.
- Assist with Onboarding: Help new employees get started by setting up workstations and provide IT support during their onboarding process.
- Improve Documentation: Contribute to the creation of help articles and documentation for software and hardware.
- Enhance IT Processes: Help continuously improve our IT service processes to make them more effective and efficient.
- Participate in Projects: Get involved in IT projects to build or improve IT infrastructure and support change management.
- Current Student Status: Enrolled in a relevant field such as Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Language Skills: Very good German and English language skills, able to work and effectively communicate in both languages.
- IT Knowledge: Passionate about IT trends and technology, ideally with some practical experience through internships or student jobs, also in programming.
- Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft 365 & SharePoint, familiarity with these tools and a willingness to learn more.
- Personal Qualities: Independent and proactive, able to work independently, take initiative, and manage your tasks with a sense of ownership.
- Commitment: Willing to commit to the role for a minimum of 6 months, ideally for one year.

Nuventura GmbH develops environmentally-friendly medium voltage (MV) gas insulated switchgear (GIS) – key hardware components found throughout electrical grids and energy infrastructure. Our patented technology replaces Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) – the world's strongest greenhouse gas – with dry air, whilst maintaining GIS' traditional strengths i.e. compact physical dimensions. Such alternatives are urgently needed because, in the coming years, regulators are expected to phase out SF6's use in switchgear due to its high environmental impact. Nuventura GmbH works with both switchgear end-users (utilities, EPCs, industry, project developers etc.) and manufacturers (OEMs, panel builders) with the aim of accelerating and facilitating the energy industry's transition away from SF6.
