About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Finance team at Corpay. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial planning and reporting support to our business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and build effective business processes and internal controls to drive value creation and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain dynamic cost analysis and provide insightful reports to department directors on cost optimization opportunities.
- Track and analyze costs versus budget, and simulate forecasts to ensure alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Collaborate with our external accounting partner to ensure high-quality monthly financial information.
- Transform financial statements from local GAAP to US GAAP and ensure timely month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly reporting to top management on financial results.
Requirements
- You are a registered student with advanced studies in business administration, accounting, and finance or business and information technology.
- You speak German and English fluently.
- You have a result-oriented approach and a can-do attitude with attention to detail.
- You have strong analytical skills and a strong academic track record.
- You have basic accounting knowledge (German GAAP) and experience with Excel (PivotTables, INDEX-MATCH, macros).
- You are an advanced user of MS Office tools and have a strong tolerance for uncertainty and adaptation to changing work environments.
