School Facility Manager at Anne-Frank Comprehensive School

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Facility Manager is tasked with maintaining order, safety, and cleanliness within the educational environment and surrounding areas.
  • Primary duties encompass winter maintenance, leaf removal, security services, heating system operation, upkeep and repairs, cleaning of the premises, first aid provision, and safety oversight, as well as setting up classrooms and supporting school and extracurricular activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Self-motivation and initiative, strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to communicate complex issues effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, teamwork capability, organizational skills, and a high level of personal commitment and resilience.

We seek candidates with completed vocational training relevant to the position, who are prepared to manage diverse responsibilities independently and can handle demanding schedules. Reliability, a keen sense of order, and empathy for the educational environment are essential.

The standard weekly working hours for the Facility Manager total 46 hours and 45 minutes, divided into 31 hours and 15 minutes of active work and 15 hours and 30 minutes of standby duty.

A strong sense of teamwork is crucial.

The Facility Manager will oversee the gymnasium and sports hall, as well as manage the use of school facilities by external parties during evenings and weekends, for which a fixed compensation is provided. Standby duties may be adjusted based on organizational needs, and there is no guarantee of permanent standby hours.
