School Facility Manager at Anne-Frank Comprehensive School

Responsibilities:

  • The Facility Manager is accountable for maintaining order, safety, and cleanliness within the educational premises.
  • Key responsibilities encompass winter maintenance, landscaping, security services, heating system operations, upkeep and repairs, sanitation of the school facilities, emergency response, and safety oversight, as well as arranging classrooms and supporting school and extracurricular activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Self-motivation and initiative, strong interpersonal abilities, strategic thinking, and the capacity to articulate complex matters in a solution-focused manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork capabilities, organizational proficiency, and a high level of personal commitment and resilience are essential.

We seek candidates with completed vocational training in relevant fields who are prepared to undertake diverse responsibilities independently and are ready to meet demanding schedules. A strong sense of reliability, orderliness, and empathy for educational operations is expected.

The standard weekly working hours for the Facility Manager total 46 hours and 45 minutes, which includes 31 hours and 15 minutes of active work and 15 hours and 30 minutes of standby duty.

A strong sense of teamwork is crucial.

The Facility Manager oversees the gymnasium and sports hall, as well as other school facilities used by external parties during evenings and weekends, for which a flat-rate compensation is provided. Due to organizational needs, standby duties may be adjusted or eliminated, and there is no guarantee of permanent standby hours.
