School Facility Manager at Anne-Frank Comprehensive School

Responsibilities:

  • The Facility Manager is tasked with maintaining order, safety, and cleanliness within the educational premises.
  • Key responsibilities encompass winter services, leaf management, security locking, heating operations, maintenance and repair tasks, cleaning of the facility, first aid and safety oversight, room setup for educational purposes, and ensuring the smooth execution of school and extracurricular activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Self-reliance and proactive approach, strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, ability to articulate complex matters in a solution-focused manner, effective communication skills, teamwork capability, organizational skills, and a high level of personal commitment and resilience.

We seek candidates with completed vocational training relevant to the outlined responsibilities, who are prepared to manage diverse tasks independently and are willing to meet the sometimes demanding time requirements. A strong sense of reliability, order, and empathy for the educational environment is essential.

The standard weekly working hours for the Facility Manager total 46 hours and 45 minutes, divided into 31 hours and 15 minutes of active work and 15 hours and 30 minutes of standby duty.

A strong team-oriented mindset is crucial.

The Facility Manager oversees the gymnasium and sports hall, as well as other school facilities used by external parties during evenings and weekends, for which a flat-rate compensation is provided. Due to organizational needs, standby duties may be adjusted or eliminated, with no guaranteed hours for standby duty.
