Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Field Service Manager DACH Region Leader to join our team in Düsseldorf, Germany. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and channels in the DACH territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Delivery: Oversee the end-to-end service delivery process, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of customer issues.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of field engineers, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to drive excellence.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor and analyze service KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance service delivery.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the wider go-to-market team to drive service revenues, contract penetration, and value-added services.
  • Recruitment and Development: Recruit, train, and develop direct staff members to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply advanced technical knowledge to manage staff activities, solve complex business and technical issues, and drive knowledge updates.
  • Business Acumen: Understand and drive actions to decrease on-site visits and material consumption to achieve budget targets.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years of leadership and managerial experience.
  • Technical Education: Formal technical education (BSc or equivalent).
  • Technical Analysis Skills: Strong technical analysis skills and experience.
  • Statistics and Data Analysis: Statistics and data analysis skills.
  • Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication and presentation skills – written and verbal.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work in a complex matrix environment of field, functions, HQ, and sales.
  • Agility and Growth Mindset: Agility and growth mindset.
  • Project Management: Project management skills.
  • Language Skills: German and English speaking and writing skills are mandatory.
