We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Team Supervisor (RATS) for the DACH Region

Objective:

The RATS will lead the regulatory strategy for the DACH region, overseeing regulatory projects related to our existing product offerings and future developments. This role serves as the primary representative for Corteva in local regulatory discussions and engagements with relevant authorities.

The RATS will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing regulatory team, recognized by both internal and external stakeholders for their expertise, timely submissions, and strong relationships with regulatory agencies.

The position also requires facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective market access strategies for Corteva's product lines, aligning regulatory approaches with specific regional requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Responsibilities:

Direct a team of regulatory professionals responsible for the registration of Corteva's diverse portfolio, including crop protection and biological products. Serve as the regulatory advisor to the regional business management team. Collaborate with the Commercial Team Leader to create sustainable resource plans for the regulatory team. Identify and implement career development strategies for team members, fostering an inclusive workplace. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to regulatory managers. Promote the effective use of Corteva's regulatory tools and processes. Work with teams to adopt best practices and innovate new regulatory strategies as needed. Participate in the EMEA People Success Team to support the broader regulatory community.

Technical Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to formulate and execute strategic plans that enhance regulatory outcomes. Implement thorough review processes for key projects to ensure success. Establish trust-based relationships with regulatory authorities through transparent communication and scientific integrity. Partner with advocacy teams to develop and execute effective regulatory advocacy strategies. Contribute to science advocacy initiatives with regulatory bodies and policymakers. Facilitate team interactions with regulatory authorities and technical experts as necessary. Provide insights into regional regulatory policy developments and contribute to investment project planning. Uphold Corteva's commitment to ethical business practices and transparency.

Collaboration:

The RATS will work closely with various teams, including product development, legal, commercial, and regional regulatory units, ensuring alignment and effective communication across functions.

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

A technical degree in agriculture, biology, chemistry, or a related field; experience in agricultural sciences is advantageous. At least 8 years of experience in regulatory affairs, particularly within the DACH market. Proficiency in both German and English, with strong communication skills. Exceptional organizational and planning abilities. Proven leadership experience in regulatory environments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams. A proactive and dynamic approach is essential in our fast-paced environment.
