Simulation Engineer for Statics

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Engineer for Statics to join our team at OSB AG. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for creating and analyzing finite element models, calculating weights, and optimizing structural components.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and validate finite element models and calculate weights based on given component geometries, considering guidelines, methodologies, and regulations.
  • Test and evaluate computational results and select materials.
  • Optimize structural components for strength and weight.
  • Analyze deviations, including concessions, test reports, and weight deviations.
  • Develop and create necessary documentation.

**Requirements**

  • Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Bring strong communication skills and relevant tool knowledge in CATIA V5, as well as practical experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Be able to quickly adapt to new topics and possess the endurance and perseverance to work in a complex environment.
  • Work independently, structured, and result-oriented to achieve goals quickly and directly.
  • Be able to integrate into a team.
  • Have good German and English language skills.
