About the Role:

Ubique Systems is seeking a highly skilled Statics and Weight Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and weight optimization of our aerospace products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed finite element models and perform weight calculations based on component geometries, adhering to industry guidelines, methodologies, and regulations.
  • Evaluate and interpret calculation results to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Select and specify appropriate materials for optimal performance and weight reduction.
  • Optimize components for strength and weight through iterative design and analysis.
  • Conduct preliminary static and weight checks of construction documents and static proofs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Assess deviations, specifications, and change requests to ensure seamless integration with existing designs.
  • Develop and create necessary proof documents, including test reports, similarity statements, static strength certificates, weight plans, and reports.
