Stress Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Engineer with expertise in Statics and Weight to join our team at Cyient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed Finite Element (FE) models and perform weight calculations based on component geometries, adhering to established guidelines, methodologies, and regulations.
• Evaluate and interpret calculation results to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Select and specify appropriate materials for optimal performance and weight reduction.
• Optimize components for strength and weight, considering factors such as material properties and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct preliminary static and weight checks of construction documents and static proofs to identify potential issues.
• Assess deviations, specifications, and change requests (JCRs) to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Develop and create necessary proof documents, including test reports, similarity statements, static strength certificates, weight plans, and reports.
