Mechatronics Technician for Biogas Plant Construction

Hitachi Zosen Inova AG, a subsidiary of Hitachi Zosen Corporation, is a leading global provider of integrated solutions for the energy transition and circular economy. We specialize in Energy-from-Waste (EfW) and Renewable Gas (RG).

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechatronics Technician to join our team at our Zeven facility in Niedersachsen, Germany. In this role, you will contribute to the construction of our Biomethane production plants.

  • Your Responsibilities:
  • Assemble Gas Processing and Gas Injection systems at our Zeven facility.
  • Assist in commissioning gas processing systems at project sites (approximately 20% travel required).
  • Conduct fault analyses on mechanical components.
  • Work independently following manufacturing documents.
  • Take on increasing responsibilities after training and support the team leader.

Your Qualifications:

  • Completed apprenticeship in Mechatronics, Industrial Mechanics, Agricultural and Construction Machinery Mechanics, or a similar field. Preference given to candidates with further education as a Master Technician, or willingness to pursue such education.
  • Experience in industrial production environments or specialized vehicle construction.
  • Solution-oriented, independent, and structured approach with good process understanding.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License Class B.
  • Proficiency in German and English.
