Job Title: Electrical Planner / Electrical Designer

Hitachi Zosen Inova (HZI), a subsidiary of Hitachi Zosen Corporation, stands at the forefront of integrated solutions for the energy transition and circular economy, with a specialization in Energy-from-Waste (EfW) and Renewable Gas (RG). Our headquarters are located in Zurich.

Our division, Hitachi Zosen Inova BioMethan GmbH, is dedicated to the development and manufacturing of modular technology for biomethane production and CO2 extraction from biogenic gases, including bio, sewage, and landfill gas, as well as flue gases. Our team comprises approximately 160 professionals based in Zeven, Lower Saxony, strategically positioned between Hamburg and Bremen.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities as an Electrical Planner / Electrical Designer

  • Electrical Planning: Lead innovative biogas initiatives while adhering to VDE standards.
  • Schematics: Evaluate, provide feedback, and resolve technical inquiries.
  • Project Management: Serve as the primary contact for suppliers and conduct on-site technical evaluations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical project management and various trades.
  • Commissioning: Provide on-site assistance during project implementation.
  • Technical Oversight: Manage assigned technical domains effectively.

Qualifications

Your Profile for the Position of Electrical Planner / Electrical Designer

  • Education: Electrical Engineering Technician, Master Electrician, or a relevant degree, preferably in plant construction.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in CAE tools (Eplan P8), CAD software (AutoCAD), and MS Office (Excel).
  • Competencies: Strong ability to interpret schematics and data sheets, coupled with effective communication skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command of German and English (minimum B2 level); knowledge of French is an advantage.
