Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will design high-performing Java-based services in a complex system landscape. You will be involved in the concept, design, and implementation of modern solutions based on Springboot. You will contribute to our new technology stack as well as maintaining the existing legacy system.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performing Java-based services in a complex system landscape.
- Be involved in the concept, design, and implementation of modern solutions based on Springboot.
- Contribute to our new technology stack as well as maintaining the existing legacy system.
- Accompany software projects from draft until running them on production.
- Document software architectures and know-how transfer.
- Couch and develop more junior team members.
- Participate in code and design reviews.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 4 years of proven professional experience in software development.
- Strong Java skills with knowledge of enterprise frameworks such as Springboot and Hibernate.
- Strong database skills with good database knowledge (strong SQL skills).
- Knowledge of virtualization and containerized applications (Kubernetes or Docker).
- Experience with Git and Maven in building CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
- Good knowledge of the English language.
