Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of both new and existing components, alongside the scheduling and ordering of spare parts.
- Execute operational and strategic management of inquiries, comparison of offers, and order placements within our procurement framework.
- Conduct market analysis and evaluate suppliers, ensuring optimal selection in direct purchasing scenarios.
- Facilitate contract and pricing negotiations, while reviewing purchasing and contract documentation for adherence to our quality and safety protocols.
- Identify potential savings in collaboration with specialized departments, implementing strategies to enhance cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Coordinate projects and facilitate communication between project management and suppliers.
- Address complaints and delivery issues, initiating corrective actions and countermeasures as necessary.
- Monitor suppliers, conducting audits and fostering development to maintain high standards of supplier quality and performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed technical or business education, or equivalent training based on vocational qualifications.
- Several years of relevant experience, preferably in technical procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical comprehension.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging across diverse cultural and hierarchical levels to ensure effective collaboration with all partners.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on goal-oriented actions.
- High levels of motivation, initiative, reliability, and adaptability.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
