Key Responsibilities:
- Acquire new and existing components while managing the scheduling and ordering of spare parts.
- Execute operational and strategic management of inquiries, offer evaluations, and order placements within our procurement framework.
- Conduct market analysis and assess suppliers, alongside making selections for direct procurement.
- Engage in contract and pricing negotiations, ensuring that purchasing and contract documents adhere to our quality and safety protocols.
- Identify potential savings in collaboration with specialized departments and implement strategies to minimize costs and enhance efficiency.
- Facilitate project coordination and manage interactions between project management and suppliers.
- Address complaints and delivery issues, initiating corrective measures and actions as necessary.
- Monitor suppliers and conduct audits and development initiatives to maintain high standards of supplier quality and performance.
Required Qualifications:
- Completed technical or business education, or equivalent further training based on vocational experience.
- Several years of pertinent professional experience, preferably in technical procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical comprehension.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication abilities, capable of engaging across diverse cultural and hierarchical levels to foster effective collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and goal-oriented mindset.
- High levels of motivation, initiative, dependability, and adaptability.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
