About the Role
- Monitor and control subcontractor performance to ensure timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Process commercial claims from subcontractors, ensuring fair and efficient resolution.
- Manage supplement and change requests from subcontractors, minimizing risks and delays.
- Collaborate with contract management to resolve claims and negotiate contract amendments.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with subcontractor delays, ensuring project timelines are met.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, leveraging your expertise to secure favorable terms.
- Work closely with engineering, design, quality, scheduling, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging lessons learned to enhance processes and outcomes.
- Provide regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in economics or engineering, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- Have experience in procuring mechanical systems, such as HVAC or sanitary and waste water systems.
- Demonstrate high commercial and technical competence, with a strong ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
- Be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and SAP, with a good command of written and spoken German and English (at least level B2).
- Be flexible and willing to travel, including longer assignments on our construction sites within Germany.
- Be a proactive, results-driven individual who can collaborate effectively across the company.
- Be willing to take ownership of decisions and actions, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
- Be open to working on diverse projects and embracing change as an opportunity for growth and development.
