About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Insurance Advisory to join our team at EPAM. As a key member of our Insurance Strategy & Transformation advisory team, you will play a critical role in driving enterprise transformation programs forward for our insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic engagements with our clients to bring our GTM offerings and solutions to market
  • Develop and execute business development and demand generation strategies
  • Build and maintain deep client relationships across a diverse network
  • Lead engagement planning and budgeting, mobilize and manage engagement teams, and define deliverable structure and content
  • Facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client and direct on-time quality delivery of work products
  • Manage engagement economics, manage engagement risk, and lead the continued evolution of differentiated transformation and program management methods, tools, and approaches
  • Help define EPAM's go-to-market value proposition for solutions and interface with other senior leadership to craft related offerings
  • Support sales and pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, designing solutions, developing proposals, and establishing relationships with clients and prospective clients
  • Lead and contribute to the development of innovative methods and tools that increase the impact of our service offerings
  • Create opportunities to drive impact, anticipate client needs, and deliver superior results by leveraging each person's strengths to build high-performing teams
Requirements
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in an established consulting firm environment, with a blend of consulting and industry experience also acceptable
  • Deep insurance industry knowledge, including claims, underwriting, distribution sales and service, or finance transformation, with a focus on P&C or Life within the German-speaking market
  • Prior consulting experience with core consulting skills in an advisory capacity required
  • Understanding of key trends and ability to articulate a point of view
  • Ability to develop thought leadership in an area of expertise, whether published or not
  • Minimum of five years of recent work experience in actuarial science, with reserving or pricing experience preferred
  • Certification as an Associate or Fellow (FSA or FCA)
  • Experience with financial reporting, modeling, and leveraging analytics and developing solutions
  • Proven ability to operate independently at client locations
  • Skilled at analyzing complex business issues and effectively communicating these issues to clients
  • Able to anticipate and identify risks and drive action to mitigate and resolve issues as they occur
  • Able to translate broader strategy into a compelling team vision and goals, align the team, and set priorities to achieve objectives
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
