About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Insurance Advisory Services to join our team at EPAM. As a key member of our Insurance Strategy & Transformation advisory team, you will be responsible for leading strategic engagements with our clients, driving enterprise transformation programs forward, and contributing to EPAM's growth by supporting our world-class engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic engagements with clients, bringing our GTM offerings and solutions to drive value and impact.
  • Develop and execute business development and demand generation strategies to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain deep client relationships across a diverse network, leveraging your influencing skills to gain buy-in and drive impact.
  • Lead engagement planning, budgeting, and mobilization, defining deliverable structures and content, and facilitating buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels.
  • Direct on-time quality delivery of work products, manage engagement economics, and mitigate risks.
  • Contribute to the evolution of differentiated transformation and program management methods, tools, and approaches.
  • Help define EPAM's go-to-market value proposition for solutions, interfacing with senior leadership to craft related offerings.
  • Support sales and pre-sales activities by assessing opportunities, designing solutions, developing proposals, and establishing relationships with clients and prospects.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in an established consulting firm environment, with a blend of consulting and industry experience.
  • Deep insurance industry knowledge, with expertise in Claims, UW, Distribution Sales & Service, or Finance Transformation.
  • Prior consulting experience with core consulting skills in an advisory capacity.
  • Understanding of key trends and ability to articulate a point of view.
  • Ability to develop thought leadership in an area of expertise.
  • Minimum 5 years of recent work experience in actuarial science, with reserving or pricing experience preferred.
  • Certification as an Associate or Fellow (FSA or FCA).
  • Experience with financial reporting, modeling, and leveraging analytics to develop solutions.
  • Proven ability to operate independently at client locations.
  • Skilled at analyzing complex business issues and communicating them effectively to clients.
  • Able to anticipate and identify risks, driving action to mitigate and resolve issues.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
