Internship in Corporate Strategy & Mergers and Acquisitions (m/f/d)

Location: Weingarten

Your Role

As an intern, you will assist the Corporate Strategy & Business Development team in evaluating, identifying, and formulating strategic options, acquisition initiatives, innovative business models, and other significant internal and external projects.

  • Engage actively in the strategic planning for the organization at both national and international levels within the CHG-MERIDIAN Group.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of corporate and regional strategies.
  • Conduct industry, market, and competitive analyses, along with strategic assessments of potential future developments.
  • Support the formulation and compilation of country analyses within the CHG-MERIDIAN Group.
  • Assist in managing internal strategic projects and their project oversight.
  • Contribute to M&A initiatives, from identifying potential acquisition targets to conducting due diligence and facilitating company integration.
  • Collaborate in drafting business plans, feasibility studies, and company valuations.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, approximately 10%.

Your Profile

  • You are a registered student in business administration, economics, finance, or related fields.
  • You possess strong analytical capabilities, along with a high degree of motivation and accountability.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken German and English.
  • You enjoy working in an international environment.
  • You are prepared to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week for a duration of 6 months, becoming an integral part of our dynamic and supportive team.
