Intern in Corporate Strategy & Mergers and Acquisitions (m/w/d)

Your Role

As an intern, you will assist the Corporate Strategy & Business Development division in evaluating, identifying, and formulating strategic options, acquisition initiatives, innovative business models, and other significant internal and external projects.

  • Contribute actively to the strategic planning of the corporate group, both nationally and internationally within the CHG-MERIDIAN network.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of corporate and regional strategies.
  • Conduct industry, market, and competitive analyses, as well as strategic evaluations of future trends.
  • Assist in the preparation and development of country-specific analyses within the CHG-MERIDIAN framework.
  • Support the execution of internal strategic projects and their project management.
  • Engage in M&A initiatives, from identifying potential acquisition targets to conducting due diligence and facilitating company integration.
  • Collaborate on the formulation of business plans, feasibility studies, and company valuations.
  • Minimal travel commitment of approximately 10%.

Your Profile

  • You are a registered student in business administration, economics, finance, or related fields.
  • You possess strong analytical capabilities, along with a high degree of motivation and accountability.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken German and English.
  • You enjoy collaborating in an international environment.
  • You are prepared to commit to 40 hours per week for a duration of 6 months and become an integral part of our dynamic and supportive team.
