Technical Sales Engineer

Position: Technical Sales Engineer - Maritime Solutions
Delphi HR-Consulting is collaborating with a prominent global engineering organization, recognized for its specialization in sustainable energy solutions within maritime sectors. With a legacy of over five decades in the LNG industry, this firm has established its LNG Fuel Gas Supply Systems as a standard in various vessels, including cruise liners and ferries. Their portfolio also encompasses maritime advisory services and the innovation of offshore converter platforms. To support their growth strategy, they are in search of a dynamic engineer (m/f/d) to act as a pivotal liaison for client inquiries and to enhance customer engagement and acquisition efforts.
Key Responsibilities- Promoting LNG Fuel Gas Supply Systems and engineering solutions within the offshore and shipbuilding industries.
- Providing consultancy and crafting tailored proposals in close partnership with internal engineering teams.
- Strengthening existing client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities with shipping firms, shipyards, regulatory bodies, and grid operators.
- Overseeing sales initiatives from proposal development to successful execution in collaboration with internal divisions and external stakeholders.
- Engaging in professional networking through industry events, trade exhibitions, and conferences.
- Conducting market analysis to identify opportunities and contribute to the evolution of the product and service offerings.
- Completed technical degree in fields such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or naval architecture.
- Proven experience in technical sales of sophisticated capital goods or services, preferably in machinery, plant construction, maritime, or energy sectors.
- Strong enthusiasm for proactive sales initiatives and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with tendering and bidding processes is a plus.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Fluency in negotiation-level German and English; additional languages are advantageous.
