About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrolysis Transformer Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Sustainable Energy Systems business unit, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of industrial power transformers for electrolysis applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead expert on transformer specifications, designs, and supplier selection for the entire business
- Support the design of new power supply concepts and customer project execution teams
- Develop and implement a worldwide standardized transformer specification procedure to enable further ramp-up of the business
- Ownership of related design tools and guidelines, including Matlab
- Sufficient execution experience to support project execution for the whole primary electric scope or take responsibilities as an Electrical Lead Engineer
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on power engineering or power electronics
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the specification, design, manufacturing, or erection and commissioning of industrial power transformers
- Background in electrolysis or high-current applications beneficial
- Highly self-organized, reliable, and resilient
- Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
