A Glimpse into Your Role
As a PLM Teamcenter Specialist (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, you play a pivotal role in our vision of "connecting efficient factories". Working within a global and distributed development team, you will be tasked with defining and supporting CAD/CAE/PDM and PLM solutions along with the corresponding architecture and concepts to enhance the transformer engineering and manufacturing sectors. Your responsibility includes ensuring the establishment and implementation of the most uniform and standardized PDM/PLM components in an agile manner, allowing us to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering tool solutions promptly while minimizing operational costs. Additionally, your expertise will assist in addressing non-standard functional requirements from end-users. Your contributions will foster sustainable PDM/PLM Tool solutions aligned with Siemens Energy guidelines, including cyber security, SE IT agile methodologies, and modern development standards. These efforts will enhance Siemens Energy's competitiveness by enabling more efficient engineering operations at our sites.
Your Impact Provide support for the Power Transformer (PT) Engineering Design sector across various PT locations globally, focusing on defining and realizing business requirements for CAD/CAE/PLM and ERP solutions to continuously enhance the PT business in collaboration with IT and user communities. Engage in an international environment, collaborating with colleagues and business partners in CAD/CAE/PLM tool development, operation, and support, serving as the Business PLM system coordinator and related project manager. Define business requirements, develop blueprint specifications, business cases, and project schedules, assign and coordinate project resources, and conduct timely status meetings with stakeholders and partners, including the CAD/PDM expert community. Oversee the software specification, development, release, distribution, and operational processes in collaboration with (Key)Users and the Development team. Analyze, assess, and estimate business/user requirements, designing solutions in partnership with stakeholders and the project team. Define, hand over, and maintain PLM software components for in-house operations at transformer production sites, along with providing user support. Contribute to improving development methods and processes within a multicultural, agile, and highly skilled team. Enhance the Siemens Energy transformer business regarding quality, efficiency, and sustainability as part of the forward-looking digitalization and tool development team. Qualifications Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in computer science or engineering, with a strong emphasis on IT CAD/CAE, PLM, and ERP systems. Extensive experience (over 5 years) as an Administrator and/or Project Manager in 3D CAD/CAE (ProE, Creo, NX) and PLM systems (such as Oracle CADIM/Agile, Windchill, Teamcenter) along with the associated processes. Familiarity with the software support and development processes in the mechanical design domain of the Transformer business, as well as experience in the use, operation, and/or customization of Creo, PDMLink, Oracle CADIM/Agile, or Teamcenter, including underlying configuration and automation capabilities. Profound experience in CAD/PDM/PLM tool harmonization concerning PLM IT system architecture, concept design, and the development of related solutions and interfaces. Understanding of Siemens Energy processes related to IT architecture development. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (English) with a willingness to travel while working in an international setting.
