Position Overview
As the Senior Manager Global Export Control, you will play a pivotal role within our Supply Chain team, collaborating closely with international affiliates to ensure the seamless availability of STADA's products across various markets.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Oversee Customs-related activities, including audits.
- Manage classification, valuation, and record-keeping processes.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of brokerage service providers concerning customs compliance.
- Provide leadership and direction on regulations, compliance, and risk assessment regarding sanctions and trade control.
- Enhance processes related to sanctions and trade control, implementing best practices for exports.
- Offer guidance to Supply Chain Management and Executive Management.
- Monitor existing export control and foreign trade licenses, ensuring the maintenance of relevant master data.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., other Supply Chain functions, STADA affiliates, Quality, Regulatory, Finance) and external partners, including 3PL and international freight providers.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A university degree in business or a related field.
- Over 10 years of international experience in Trade Compliance and Customs, preferably within the pharmaceutical or chemical sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Strong skills in risk mitigation, problem identification, and resolution.
- The ability to foster robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Fluency in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
