Position Overview
As the Senior Manager Global Export Control, you will play a pivotal role within our Supply Chain team, collaborating closely with international affiliates to ensure the seamless availability of STADA's products across various markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Customs-related activities, including audits and compliance checks.
- Manage classification, valuation, and record-keeping aspects of export control.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of brokerage service providers to ensure quality customs compliance.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction regarding regulations, compliance, and risk assessment in relation to sanctions and trade control.
- Enhance processes related to sanctions and trade control while implementing best practices for exports.
- Offer guidance to Supply Chain Management and Executive Management on compliance matters.
- Monitor existing export control and foreign trade licenses, maintaining relevant master data.
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., other Supply Chain functions, STADA affiliates, Quality, Regulatory, Finance) and external partners, including 3PL and international freight providers.
Candidate Profile
- A university degree in business or a related field.
- Over 10 years of international experience in Trade Compliance and Customs, preferably within the pharmaceutical or chemical sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of export regulations and documentation requirements.
- Strong skills in risk mitigation, problem identification, and resolution.
- Proven ability to cultivate relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Fluency in English and German; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
