Global Export Control Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Global Export Control to join our Supply Chain team at STADA Arzneimittel AG.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Customs activities, including audits and compliance reviews.
  • Monitor and improve the performance of brokerage service providers in terms of customs compliance.
  • Provide leadership and direction on regulations, compliance, and risk assessment related to sanctions and trade control.
  • Develop and implement export best practices and improve processes in sanctions and trade control.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management and Executive Management to ensure compliance with export regulations.
  • Monitor and maintain export control and foreign trade licenses, as well as relevant master data.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including 3PL and international freight providers.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of international experience in Trade Compliance and Customs, preferably in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of export regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Fluency in English and German, with any additional language skills an advantage.
