Your Responsibilities
  • You will continuously develop and implement the Global Manufacturing Quality Platform, focusing on sharing best practices, harmonizing processes, disseminating lessons learned, ensuring process robustness and control, and enhancing sustainability.
  • You will train and support the implementation of manufacturing process enhancements and best practices.
  • You will conduct factory assessments, identify gaps, and assist in the structured and systematic implementation of related plans.
  • You will collaborate in investment analyses to ensure alignment with the Global Manufacturing Quality Platform.
  • You will participate in root cause analyses of transformer quality issues.
  • You will ensure that the Global and local Quality Control Plans are regularly updated based on identified quality issues and best practices.
  • You will lead and coordinate the global manufacturing quality subject expert pool.
  • You will work to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and enhance productivity in collaboration with local and Global Operations Development and Quality teams.
  • You will support Manufacturing Quality Audits and Assessments in collaboration with local teams and the Global QHSE Manager.
  • You will coach and mentor junior operations and quality professionals.
  • You will support Manufacturing Quality Audits and Assessments in collaboration with the Q-Community (local team, BU-Q Manager, and Global QHSE Manager).
Your Profile
  • You hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
  • You are a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred).
  • You have completed Graduate or Post Graduate studies in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Quality / Lean / Six Sigma (preferred).
  • You possess extensive knowledge and experience in power transformer manufacturing processes at an expert level.
  • You have a proven track record in managing significant improvement projects with excellent facilitation skills.
  • You have basic knowledge of transformer design (preferred).
