What Can You Expect?
  • You will continuously develop and implement the Global Manufacturing Quality Platform with a focus on sharing best practices, harmonizing processes, disseminating experiences, ensuring process robustness and control, and maintaining sustainable improvements.
  • You will train and support the implementation of manufacturing process enhancements and best practices.
  • You will conduct factory assessments, identify gaps, and support the structured and systematic implementation of associated plans.
  • You will collaborate in investment analysis to ensure alignment with the Global Manufacturing Quality Platform.
  • You will participate in root cause analysis of transformer quality issues.
  • You will ensure that the Global and local Quality Control Plans are regularly updated based on identified quality issues and best practices.
  • You will lead and coordinate the global manufacturing quality subject expert pool.
  • You will reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and enhance productivity in full collaboration with local and Global Operations Development and Quality teams.
  • You will support Manufacturing Quality Audits and Assessments in collaboration with the local team and Global QHSE Manager.
  • You will coach and mentor Junior Operations and Quality individuals.
  • You will support Manufacturing Quality Audits and Assessments in collaboration with the Q-Community (local team, BU-Q Manager, and Global QHSE Manager).
What Should You Bring Along?
  • You hold a Master or Bachelor degree in Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
  • You are a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred).
  • You have Graduate or Post Graduate studies in Industrial Engineering, Operations, Quality / Lean / Six Sigma (preferred).
  • You possess extensive knowledge and experience with power transformers manufacturing processes at an expert level.
  • You have successful experience in managing major improvement projects with excellent facilitation skills.
  • You have basic knowledge of transformer design (preferred).
