We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of:

Assistant Manager Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) (All genders welcome)

at Kia Europe Headquarters located in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

Role Overview:
As part of our commitment to effective Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR, K-SoX), the Assistant Manager ICFR will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing ICFR and IT general controls across all Kia EU subsidiaries. This position will also serve as a liaison between the Kia HQ ICFR team and the subsidiaries, ensuring seamless communication.

Key Responsibilities:

The following tasks outline the primary responsibilities of this role:

Kia EU Internal Control Financial Reporting (ICFR):

Act as the main contact for Korean ICFR (K-SOX) compliance, fostering a strong control environment for Kia EU and its subsidiaries. Strategize, design, and execute the development and ongoing management of Kia HQ ICFR controls and associated procedures. Collaborate with control owners to ensure the effectiveness of controls and implement corrective actions for any identified deficiencies. Lead internal assessments and documentation of operational controls and IT general controls for Kia EU and its subsidiaries. Support both external and internal ICFR audits, providing expertise on Internal Controls over Financial Reporting. Develop and maintain an ICFR management system, offering continuous support for its functionality. Deliver timely and comprehensive updates on control readiness, testing outcomes, and remediation strategies to management.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

A degree in Business Administration or Accounting/Controlling.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience. Background in financial auditing and internal control is highly advantageous.

Skills:

Strong intercultural awareness and understanding. Proficiency in English (both written and spoken). Solid knowledge of financial and management accounting. Advanced computer skills (MS-Office), particularly in Excel; familiarity with SAP BI is preferred. Understanding of the FI Controlling Framework. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of accuracy and responsiveness.
