Research Scientist in Pancreatic Cancer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Scientist to join our team at Universitätsklinikum Ulm. The successful candidate will investigate druggable cell-intrinsic mechanisms in modulating an immune cell response in pancreatic cancer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employ complex 3D co-culture model systems, genetically engineered mouse models, and human organoid models to study biochemical and biophysical aspects of tumor-niche interactions.
  • Perform shRNA and CRISPR library-based screening approaches to identify potential therapeutic targets.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
  • Contribute to the development of new research projects and ideas.

Requirements:
  • A Master's degree in Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related field.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present research findings to colleagues and stakeholders.
