At microTECH Global LTD, we're seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our cutting-edge semiconductor technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with design engineers to integrate our SiC power devices into their products and systems, providing expert support and guidance.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and product enhancements based on customer requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with our factory to ensure seamless technical support and knowledge exchange.
  • Provide proactive technical support to customers, responding promptly to inquiries and offering timely feedback.
Requirements:
  • BSEE or MSEE with 3-5 years of industry experience in SiC Power Electronics.
  • Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven customer support experience.
  • Team player spirit with cross-cultural and cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of power electronics circuit topologies.
  • Knowledge of SiC semiconductor devices, including Diodes and MOSFETs.
  • Familiarity with industrial norms such as JEDEC, AEC-Q, AQG324, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in SiC high-power applications (> 1kW).
  • Experience in automotive/EV, on-board charger (OBC), AC/DC, DC/DC, charging station, solar micro-inverter/string inverter, PFC power supply, motor drive, and/or energy storage power electronics applications.
