We are currently seeking a dedicated Client Services Account Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role involves managing insurance servicing and underwriting tasks for existing accounts, as well as underwriting new business. The successful candidate will take on the role of Account Team Leader, acting as the primary liaison with clients and brokers regarding all aspects of the account, including insurance products, services, engineering, and claims management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sustain a profitable portfolio by effectively utilizing sales strategies, fostering client relationships, conducting risk assessments, and applying sound underwriting principles.
  • With guidance, drive premium growth by retaining current clients through value-added services, promoting additional product lines, and establishing fair terms for new accounts. Ensure that policies accurately reflect the intentions of both the insured and FM Global.
  • Offer expert advice and consultation to clients on insurance coverages and risk management, highlighting the advantages of various products and services provided by FM Global.
  • Collaborate with Account Engineers to identify risk improvement priorities and support efforts to ensure client compliance with loss prevention recommendations.
  • Safeguard FM Global's assets through innovative application of company underwriting programs and adherence to established guidelines.
  • Timely collection of outstanding premium balances to align with operational goals and objectives.
  • Lead the overall FM Global account team, ensuring effective and efficient implementation of the Account Business Plan.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing or underwriting large property accounts across various sectors.
  • Proficient understanding of property insurance, policy frameworks, financial statements, general loss prevention engineering terminology, and business software applications.
  • Proven capabilities in organization, problem-solving, sales negotiation, leadership, and team collaboration.
  • Familiarity with internal systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to undertake some international travel as part of this role.
