We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager for Global Learning & Development to facilitate the collaboration of stakeholders and topics for establishing our Munich Re Academy. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the development of a modern and forward-thinking learning organization, enhancing employee growth and ensuring they possess the essential skills for success. As an integral member of the Global Talent team, you will report directly to the Head of Global Learning & Leadership Development.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the project aimed at launching an academy and assist in consolidating learning offerings onto a unified learning platform for Munich Re, partnering with key stakeholders in HR and the business across various regions. Work alongside subject matter experts and internal partners to pinpoint and address specific learning requirements across diverse departments and regions, ensuring that learning initiatives are customized to meet the unique needs of different teams. Aid in the implementation of the Learning Organization's technology, governance, and analytics framework. Contribute to employee development focusing on globally relevant skills and create a portfolio that supports employee growth and mobility. Coordinate marketing and communication strategies surrounding the academy, including a go-to-market and sustainability strategy. Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in learning and development, regularly conducting research to remain updated with innovative methodologies and technologies. Assist in managing the budget and financial aspects of the academy and training programs. Perform financial analyses and review expenditures to ensure appropriate use of funds and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Candidate Profile

A university degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in global project management. Relevant additional qualifications or certifications are advantageous (e.g., change management, project management, training, learning design, instructional design). Proven project management skills and experience in leading large-scale projects on a global scale within a major corporation or consultancy. Strong business acumen to plan for future academy and training expenditures, monitor, and report on budget usage. Previous experience in designing a Global Corporate Learning Organization/Academy model or playing a significant role in establishing a Corporate Academy is a plus. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, digital learning tools, and content providers, such as LinkedIn Learning or SuccessFactors, is preferred. A passion for lifelong learning, learning ecosystems, and all aspects of people development (employee experience, learning journeys, career paths, etc.). Excellent networking skills, with the ability to engage confidently with various partners at all organizational levels. Strong communication skills in English.
